The General Sect Leader stepped out the door feeling refreshed, turned his head, and saw Old Jack massaging his back and wincing with a grin, enjoying his misery, "In this state, how are you going to work with me next? You're making it tough for me."
"Just leave me out of it, let me catch a break," Old Jack responded listlessly.
In contrast, Abby was all smiles, carrying tea with a beaming face, "Would you like some coffee, Mr. Jin?"
"Thanks, ma'am, but I'm not really thirsty," Allen Zhang politely declined, pondering how he should address her now.
Mother-in-law? Wouldn't that suddenly elevate Old Jack a generation above the General Sect Leader?
"Ok. If you need anything, you can tell the female butler at the villa. I've got plans this afternoon, I'm supposed to go play golf with the wife of a Palm Valley councilman, so please feel free to make yourselves at home." The lady of the house cheerfully went downstairs and left.
