Off to the side, watching the white-haired maiden switch between bouts of excitement and nervousness, all while muttering about proposals and whatnot under her breath, Qin Xi'Er paused, confused.
"What proposal?" Qin Xi'Er asked.
Huangfu Xiangling grinned, saying, "My master is coming here to propose to Xiao Ye, you know."
Qin Xi'Er's beautiful face froze. Pointing at her in disbelief with her delicate, pale finger, she said, "Your master wants to marry Xiao Ye?"
"Of course not!" Huangfu Xiangling rolled her eyes, then pointed at herself, saying, "My master is a Quasi-Saint level Great Power, there's no way she would be interested in Xiao Ye. She's coming tonight to propose on my behalf!"
Qin Xi'Er's beautiful eyes went wide, her face full of shock. "Tonight? So soon!"
