In the Immortal Palace, there are three 'Lord Ming': first, those who successively served as the General of the Western Expedition, expanded the Western Regions to myriad states, and were renowned as the 'Three Ming.' Second, Zhang Ming, who once served as Tai Chang, and third, Duan Guangming, who once served as Grand Commandant and currently the Director of the Imperial Secretariat, Huangfu Weiming.
These three all made their names through military achievements in the Western Regions, rising from generals to ministers, governing regions as virtuous and capable officials. Their exemplary talents and reputations were known across the lands. Naturally, the first two, due to the internal struggles within the Three Constellations, defected to the Divine Sect one after another; the current 'Lord Ming' specifically refers to the Director of the Imperial Secretariat.
