The pier on Divine Wood Island is right by the river channel, and upon stepping onto the pier, there is a river that is more than ten zhang wide. To call it a river isn't quite accurate; it should be a lake.
The part where the lake flows into the sea is only ten zhang wide, but it gets wider as you go inwards, with the widest part being around two to three hundred zhang.
The sacred tree of the Divine Wood Sect is located on the eastern shore of the lake, and the residential area of the island is also on the eastern shore of the lake.
The Divine Wood Sect did not construct a city; they built many houses and courtyards around the sacred tree, and of course, there is also a majestic temple.
Not to mention, the aesthetics of the Divine Wood Sect are indeed commendable.
