"Bang, bang." Two streaks of white light flashed past the window, followed quickly by the shattering of glass. Experienced Jeddon immediately realized these were bullets from a sniper rifle.
"Whoosh." The bullets shot straight in from the window, and the target wasn't Jeddon or anyone from Netherworld Palace, but those men.
By the time everyone reacted, the white wall behind them had been stained red with blood, as the bullets easily penetrated the heads of two men, splattering blood everywhere in a grisly scene.
"Short-nosed Crocodile, there's a sniper outside." Jeddon grabbed a man and ducked behind the desk, while several members of Netherworld Palace also scrambled for cover. Just as Short-nosed Crocodile was about to grab another man, a bullet flew right in front of him.
"Bang." The man in front of him fell down in response, a bloody hole appearing in his temple, killed instantly in a clean shot.
