Marching Ants possess powerful mandibles; once bitten, the victim would lose skin and flesh. However, this is not the most terrifying aspect. Their mere two to three-centimeter bodies have earned them the title of the deadliest predators in the rainforest. The Marching Ants rely on their overwhelming numbers and their naturally unshakable discipline.
The soldier ants swiftly encircle their prey, covering it completely, then begin to tear and bite, using their mandibles to shred the massive prey into small chunks of flesh before carrying it all back to slowly digest. Even large creatures like cheetahs are terrified of them. A swarm of Marching Ants can turn prey into a heap of bones in just a few hours, a terrifying feat.
"Ssssss." All around were the "footsteps" of the Marching Ants. Although these ubiquitous little guys have short legs, their speed is extremely fast when it comes to hunting prey.
