Huang Xin was stunned.
Following closely behind Zhou Shu was the City Bureau's Criminal Investigation Captain Xia Yan, her expression cold and stern as she glowered at Huang Xin.
Ye Tian glanced at Xia Yan and quietly gave her a thumbs up.
Xia Yan, for the sake of maintaining her image, did not look towards Ye Tian, though she felt very pleased inside.
Huang Xin, however, was in complete disarray, his eyes darting around before he hurriedly walked over to Zhou Huaiqiang: "Secretary Zhou, what brings you here?"
Zhou Huaiqiang's face was stern, his expression rigid: "What, can't I come? I heard that someone is doing things that are against both morality and the law, and I wanted to see for myself."
Huang Xin broke out in cold sweat at Zhou Huaiqiang's words: "You must be joking, how could this... this possibly be?"
"Impossible?" Zhou Huaiqiang glanced at Xia Yan, who then gave the order: "Handcuff Huang Xin."
