Tian Lin glanced toward the corners of the wall, where there were several broken jars and crockery. Among them, he recognized not only rice bowls and chamber pots but also saw candlesticks and other tools.
These things couldn't possibly belong to the dry corpses. Surely, no one would be so bored as to come to this Land of Corpse Nourishment for a picnic, right?
"However, if the person who wrote this didn't die, where is their body?"
Tian Lin searched around the well but indeed found no extra bodies apart from those in the coffins, nor did he find more remaining writing.
In a corner of the well, however, Tian Lin spotted a ghostly drawing of a peach talisman, its meaning completely unknown.
Ordinarily, such ghostly drawings are likely just products of boredom and shouldn't be taken seriously.
