Deep within the Zen Temple, inside a meditation room.
An ancient door gently opened, and in front of Lin Xiaosu sat a seated old monk who slowly opened his eyes.
As his eyes opened, the surroundings gradually brightened.
There was no visible light source, yet the room was free from dust.
This was not natural light; this was Buddha light.
Buddha light was not dazzling, not flashy, but everywhere omnipresent.
"Su Lin, Prince Ding of the Great Wilderness Dynasty, pays respects to the Buddha!" Lin Xiaosu bowed slightly.
"Amitabha!" the Buddha softly chanted the name: "Who would have thought such remarkable cultivation belonged to the legendary prince who personally forged a new era for the Great Wilderness, and now Prince Ding himself has arrived!"
"The Buddha overly praises! How dare I bear the title 'legendary'?"
"Worthy indeed, worthy indeed. If Prince Ding cannot bear the title of 'legendary', who in this world can?" the Buddha said. "Prince, please sit!"
