He had seen colossal creatures like this before; in the dreams of inheritance that belonged to Hekarter, he had witnessed the true form of the Ancient Frost Multi-Headed Snake and even the scene of its battle with the Phoenix.
But separated by time and the illusionary mist, all that no longer seemed vivid. The shock and impact were nothing compared to experiencing it in person.
For some inexplicable reason, Ronan felt an overwhelming urge welling up inside him.
He wanted to pursue the trail of that vast and ancient creature, even if it meant dying on the paths it once roamed!
The urge was so uncontrollable, like a devout pilgrim suddenly summoned by the call of their faith.
"I…I'll lead it away…"
Ronan hastily threw out these words and then, throwing caution to the wind, dashed toward the ship's edge and leaped into the direction where the gargantuan sea creature had sunk.
