"I remember, you left me a message back then, saying you went to the Northern Highlands."
Ronan sat back down and looked at Andre and Nicole as they spoke first, the orange flames illuminating his cold white face.
"Yes."
Andre took a frozen trout from a jar and slowly roasted it over the bonfire, nodding, "But later there were some complications, and we ended up here."
The Northern Highlands are in the south, while the Extreme North Frozen Soil is on the northernmost edge of the entire Upper Ring Continent, separated by countless miles. It seems like Andre and Nicole encountered significant changes.
"And what about you?"
Andre looked at Ronan with sincere curiosity and inquiry. Beside him, Nicole carefully brushed precious honey on both sides of the roasting fish with a small brush.
They also brought out some bright colored pickled Northern Land olives, placing them on a silver platter with the honey-coated trout and handed it to Ronan.
