A phantom gate appeared out of thin air at the foot of the Angel Giant Tree, and Yu Sheng, along with his gang members, stepped through it.
As soon as they appeared, Yu Sheng first heard the bustling sounds around him—a batch of mature "fruits" had just fallen on the lakeshore, and the Dark Moon People responsible for guiding new members were busy transferring these fruits to the nearby barracks. The long-haired princess was helping with a few half-grown kids in the camp, and her loud calls could be heard from afar.
The camp on Lake Heart Island had expanded several times beyond what he remembered, now resembling a sizable gathering point. Rows of neatly arranged mobile homes had simple roads in between them. The streetlights by the roadside, although rudimentary, were properly connected with wires, unlike the initial days when everything relied on the Mechanical Soul's muddled efforts.
