After who knows how long, Yu Sheng, Red and the others finally found Big Nephew and Sela sunbathing by the lakeshore. Everyone gathered around that grassy pit, staring dumbfounded at the two who had just scrambled up out of it, their gazes especially locking onto Sela.
Red had rarely been this utterly dumbfounded in her whole life.
Because there were several leaves swaying in the wind on Sela's head, with two little white flowers nestled among them, and several thin vine tendrils wrapped in green leaves dangling down through her hair like a bunch of fancy braids—some of the longest vines were even still connected into the soil.
This high-tier Vampire herself also seemed a bit confused, standing dazed by the grassy pit, wide-eyed staring at Red as the two of them double-dumbfounded each other. It took quite a while before she finally raised a hand to smooth down the thin vines hanging from her hair, and then those tendrils visibly shrank back, quickly disappearing behind her head.
