Marin's voice came from beside me, carrying a hint of confusion. It seemed she hadn't figured out what was happening—the data transmission from the bottom layer of the connectors' minds had stalled but mysteriously resumed. She had never seen such a scenario.
Anyway, the progress bar ran to the end eventually.
