"Seriously, where did those folks run off to? I think I vaguely saw Yahashiki there too..."
On the girls' dormitory floor, Ashley held up her phone as a makeshift flashlight, inspecting each corner of the corridor as she walked forward.
Just as she reached the center of the floor near the elevator, she spotted a few sneaky girls heading towards the emergency exit.
"Hey, you there! Stop!"
"Eek!"
The girls were startled by Ashley's shout and turned around awkwardly, each holding something in their hands.
"Good evening, Ashley~"
"Good my foot. What are you all up to?"
The girls exchanged glances and then whispered softly,
"We plan to deliver gifts to the boys' dorm."
"What kind of gifts?"
"Of course, it's gifts for fate!"
One of the girls looked up at Ashley with shining eyes, while the others explained the legend of gift-giving during their stay.
