KIKI's aim was to enable Grace to quickly become effective because Infinity was trapped at the edge of the Bottomless Lake in Star Abyss. If they hadn't sent Grace out to explore, they wouldn't have allied with Silent City in White City.
But unexpectedly, Grace, being a 'digital life' already possessing a human-like consciousness logic, encountered Julius's replicant in White City, causing the Deep Red World to notice this point and use it as a means to recover and destroy Silent City.
