Chen Mo's current state was very peculiar.
His consciousness seemed to have fallen into a bottomless abyss, yet his perception became exceptionally clear, as if he was simultaneously engulfed by a sea of fire and glaciers; on one side was a blazing heat capable of burning everything in the world, while on the other was an absolutely cold and dead void.
The two seemed to be wrestling, constantly tugging at his Divine Soul.
This left Chen Mo doubting whether he might be torn to shreds alive.
However, these two forces were quite measured; whenever he felt it was unbearable, they would stop tugging as if by tacit understanding, and a force would flow in to repair his Divine Soul. Once fully restored, the tug-of-war would begin anew.
Over time, Chen Mo became numb to it.
Since there was no risk of dying, he simply watched them perform from an observer's perspective.
