From the training ground down the mountain road, it was packed with young men coming to enroll in the military, a mix of coarse cloth short jackets and luxurious robes among them, participating in the recruitment assessment. Many people saw the crowd at Ninth Mountain and inhaled sharply, some chickened out and went to other mountains, while others secretly fueled themselves with excitement, feeling an unspeakable thrill, and a sense of world heroes emerging from our generation!
On the training ground, flags were flying, and the area was divided into three zones for the recruitment assessment, also known as passing three barriers.
