From the bloody battle against the Devil Race outside the city, to reclaiming Weiyuan Pass, to the complete defeat of the Mountain-cutting Army, the Ninth Mountain's lone resistance failed, the entire city's populace retreated, then to the later recovery, the Devil Race's withdrawal, and the people returning to the city to recuperate... all within a span of just over a year.
