Chen Cheng followed Mei Xiang, and before entering the room, he took off his shoes.
Mei Xiang pushed open the door, and a faint scent of sandalwood hit them.
The room was furnished with a low table, which had tea sets and snacks on it.
"Please sit." Mei Xiang gestured for Chen Cheng to sit down, then turned to prepare the tea.
Chen Cheng actually sat down, while Mei Xiang knelt.
He looked around and saw several calligraphy and paintings hanging on the room's walls, and in the corner, there were some antiques and decorative items.
"These are my grandfather's collection." Mei Xiang said with a laugh as she carried the tea over, seeing Chen Cheng's curious gaze, "These were all bought by him when he was young on his trips to Huaxia."
Chen Cheng took a sip of tea and diplomatically remarked, "He has quite a good eye, these are all fine handiworks."
"What?"
Chen Cheng smiled and said, "They are handicrafts, but the imitations are pretty well done."
