Chen Cheng's voice had just faded when Aunt Wang's voice came from outside:

Chen Jin called out, "Come on, let's go out and sit."

The coffee table was laden with a full plate of neatly cut fruit, with apples, pears, oranges, and a bunch of newly marketed Qing Wang grapes, exuding an enticing fruity fragrance.
Chen Jin speared a piece of apple with a toothpick, and before he put it in his mouth, he said, "Aunt Wang, your cutting skills are getting better and better, it's beautifully done."
The apple had been cut into even cubes, about the size of a thumb, easy to eat.
