Gu Feng had been lurking in the East Bright Temple for several days, and with great difficulty, finally waited until Donghuang Lingling arrived. Alas, the woman he saw was adorned like another man's wife; Gu Feng watched from the side, his heart aching.

"Do not come closer, or I will call for help," Donghuang Lingling said, as skittish as a frightened bird, her face full of wariness.
