Ji Sang had not expected that Chang Li would reject her proposal outright without even half a moment's consideration.
"Why?"
A few years ago, doctors told her that hypnosis might help her remember past events. She didn't believe it, but with the progress over the years, especially since Chang Li was an authority in psychology, she thought he would be capable of it.
Chang Li raised his eyebrows slightly, not beating around the bush, and directly stated the reason,
"You should ask your man about this at home. He only allowed me to help you with your nightmares, and specifically instructed me not to let you remember past events."
At the time, he was puzzled, but recalling the reaction of Ji Sang he had heard about from Zhang Ting, he didn't think much of it and assumed that Fu Yisi was just being protective of his wife.
How come, doesn't it seem likely?
Did Ji Sang herself want to remember?
That's kind of interesting.
