It took two or three days for Wangjing City to return to normal order.
The Fuzhou Emperor passed away, and Noble Princess Consort Zhu along with the Fourth Prince and other members of the imperial family also met their demise. Most of their allies perished within the Haotian Platform as well.
As for Hua Yaorao, she was devoured by Gui Hu; her subordinates either fled or were executed.
However, there was one thing that made Prince Yuan a little worried.
"Zhu Qianjun and his son managed to flee. I've already issued a wanted order, but there's been no trace of them. I suspect they escaped to Shengri under the protection of Poison Venerable."
In the Imperial Study Room, Prince Yuan, Xin Lin, and Tu Suxuan were discussing matters concerning Wangjing.
"The second... oh, I almost forgot, it should now be called the Emperor."
Tu Suxuan scratched his head, looking quite uneasy.
