Thinking of that, Chloe felt unbearably miserable all over again.
"You feel that bad? Chloe, if you really can't take it, I'll take you to the hospital."
Seeing Chloe in such pain, Lucas said he'd take her to the hospital.
"No need, Lucas, go make me a cup of 999 Weitai first. Let's see if it helps?"
Chloe forced a smile and spoke.
If she let Lucas take her to the hospital, how was she supposed to escape?
"Okay, I'll go make the medicine now."
Lucas didn't suspect anything. He nodded and went to prepare the medicine.
