Su Ge didn't know what to say for a moment.
Huo Jialin continued, "Xiao Ge, I hope we can still be friends."
"Of course, we'll definitely still be friends." Su Ge awkwardly tucked her hair behind her ear and then smiled and nodded at Huo Jialin.
His change unexpectedly made her feel a bit... caught off guard, to say the least.
But she was also glad she didn't disturb him during his lowest moments.
Which allowed him to grow so quickly.
"I wish you and Chu Yihan eternal happiness, sincerely."
At the mention of Chu Yihan, Su Ge's expression suddenly froze for a moment.
She then lifted the corners of her mouth towards Huo Jialin, "Thank you, Jialin. Yihan and I will be happy forever."
"Hmm, I believe he will make you happy." Huo Jialin replied with earnestness in his eyes.
Su Ge then stood up, "Today is Zhenzhen and Jiaqi's engagement party. I'm going to check if Zhenzhen is ready. See you later."
"Okay." After Huo Jialin responded, Su Ge swiftly left the courtyard.
