The courtyard instantly returned to its cold and quiet state.
Su Ge lingered in the courtyard for a while longer, eventually picking a branch of plum blossoms and leaving.
As she passed through another courtyard, she saw several servants digging something up in the flower bed with hoes.
Looking at the ground, quite a few green plants had already been dug out.
Su Ge instinctively walked over, "What are you doing?"
"Lady." The servants saw her, greeted her in unison, and one of them explained, "Housekeeper Wu instructed us to clear out this flower bed and plant cold-resistant flowers imported from abroad."
"Replanting flowers?" Su Ge glanced around, "The flowers in the courtyard are indeed few in winter, planting some isn't a bad idea."
