The man's body shimmered with metal light, his skin hardening into dull silver as he cracked his knuckles.
"Ha ha ha.
Boy I expected you to have left your girlfriend in fear by now, what a pity, you would still die"
Jenny took a step back.
"Kayne…"
He moved in front of her. His heart beating rapidly, notifying him of the danger before him.
"Stay behind me."
The man charged at Kayne throwing a Punch, Kayne moved at a speed that wasn't humanely possible but still reasonable.
He dodged the first blow easily.
"You continue to surprise me boy"
Kayne's breath steadied.
He didn't want to use his power. Not in front of her.
The metal man threw in another blow which Kayne dodged
The man growled, skin glinting with a deeper hue of iron. "You think you can dodge forever, boy?"
He swung again. Kayne caught the fist, but the weight of the hit still sent him backwards, using his reflex and strength he steadied himself quickly.
He glanced at Jenny who was looking at him worriedly.
If I go any faster, she'll know.
The next hit came faster than he expected. The man's metal arm slammed into Kayne's side, throwing him into a bench. He gasped, pain shooting through his ribs.
"Kayne!" Jenny's voice cracked with fear.
He looked up to see her frozen in fear. Something inside him broke.
All the restraint, all the fear of being seen, everything shattered in an instant.
Kayne stood. Everything seemed to slow down around him. The air thickened with pressure, objects trembled, even the trees shook.
The metal man paused. Confusion all over his face. "What's—"
Kayne moved.
In the blink of an eye he was already in front of him, he placed his hands on his shoulder.
The man tried to retaliate, but he couldn't, he felt powerless as his metallic glow dimmed and power seeped out of him ceaselessly.
He stumbled back, eyes wide. "My—my power…"
Kayne's hand still trembled faintly.
A blue hue manifested around him and he rushed in and punched the man sending him flying.
Jenny watched, frozen, as the man crashed on a faraway merry-go-round
The hum in the air faded. The park returned to silence, the creak of a swing distorting the atmosphere.
Kayne turned slowly. His eyes met Jenny's.
Her lips parted, but no words came out.
"Kayne…" she whispered. "What was that?"
Kayne looked at his hands that were still vibrating.
"I don't know," he said softly. "I'm sorry Jenny"
In the shadows Elina smiled while watching Kayne.
I knew it, he's both dangerous and promising.
There's no way the organization would reject this. Those sneaky guys
Somewhere above them, a drone's light flickered and died.
And far away, in a dim conference room Ryan smiled while watching the screen with his teammates

Ryan was in a meeting room with his teammates, Mira,Varick,Ethan and some few other people were present.
"So you're telling me there is an organization that believes there would be an ultimate meta" Ryan's voice was low.
"Yes sir. And they plan to completely dominate humans through the help of this meta" Ethan said gazing at Ryan.
Mira scoffed, while glaring at Ethan.
"It's not completely impossible, as there is hierarchy in the level of meta strengths, span and the likes" Dr Varick mentioned.
"Yes, the 'Witch' is also a meta, but the 'Guards' have struggled to apprehend her through several encounters and I heard she's also part of this organization,"Ethan added. "We've met many meta's with the telekinesis ability but she's on another level"
"Yet she fights me from the air anytime we meet, she's just a coward" Captain Mira mentioned as she scoffed.
"Ohh I forgot you were always defeated by her, I'm sor___"
"That's enough" Ryan silenced their bickering. "We must get the "Witch" if we want to stop this organization."
An ultimate meta?
I guess my plan is coming into place faster than I thought.
