As they moved into the second half of the meal, Thomas suddenly called out, "Hey, Raffy."
He had that look on his face—the kind that meant he was up to something. Rafayel felt a wave of dread wash over him.
"W-what is it?" he asked cautiously.
"I want you to feed me too… like you did with the knights. Say 'Ahh' and all," Thomas said with a grin.
"Huh…?"
Is that really all he wants…? Rafayel thought, feeling confused.
Rafayel was completely caught off guard by Thomas's unexpected request.
Knowing how Thomas usually was, he had expected something far more outrageous. But asking for a simple "ahh" feeding? That was nothing to Rafayel.
"…Huh? Sure," Rafayel said with a smile, then brought a spoonful of soup to Thomas's mouth.
Thomas happily opened his mouth and swallowed the soup.
But then, Orinus and Uncle Varek also spoke up, saying, "Me too!"
So Rafayel fed them as well, just like he did with Thomas.
