To the outside world, the sight of Logan stepping off a private jet with a woman by his side was nothing more than the latest headline in a long string of obsessions the tabloids liked to fabricate. But to Aurora, every second felt like walking a tightrope above fire.
She sat with her arms folded, gaze fixed on the glowing billboards that painted the night in gaudy colors. Logan sat beside her, sprawling like he owned not only the car but the entire city.
