Chapter 485 - Chapter 485: Paid Video

[Beside the high-speed freight train in the dark tunnel, the 3rd generation Spider-Man desperately grabbed onto the side of a passenger carriage and barely managed to climb out from underneath the massive moving train.]

[He forced open the door of the carriage with considerable effort and stumbled inside. There was blood visible on various parts of his body, making it obvious that he had just suffered a devastating impact from the train collision.]

[The seriously injured Spider-Man weakly found an empty seat and collapsed into it, clutching his ribs and coughing continuously with obvious pain. Soon afterward, he lost consciousness completely.]

[When he regained awareness, he found himself in what appeared to be a detention center, wearing standard orange prison clothing. As he gathered his bearings, he noticed that there were several people with Dutch flag face paint looking at him with friendly smiles.]

["Hi there!"]

[Spider-Man looked at the man with a confused and disoriented expression and asked, "Where exactly am I?"]

["Municipal detention center!" a cheerful bald man answered his question helpfully.]

[Another man who had just greeted him continued, "We heard that you were found unconscious in the train maintenance yard! That's incredibly dangerous!"]

["You seemed pretty cold when they brought you in, so we put an extra T-shirt on you!" The man who had been sitting directly next to Spider-Man suddenly spoke up, startling him significantly.]

[Spider-Man then realized that there were people positioned on both sides of him, and he had apparently fallen asleep leaning against this particular man.]

["Thanks! You guys are really kind people! Your English is excellent!"]

[The three Dutch men said in perfect unison: "The Dutch people welcome you!"]

[Spider-Man blinked in surprise, processing this information, "Wait, I'm actually in the Netherlands?"]

["Yep! That's right!"]

[Spider-Man suddenly remembered that he still hadn't managed to inform Nick Fury about Beck's deception, and he had no idea how much time had passed since the train incident. Most troubling of all, he distinctly remembered that he had revealed to Quentin Beck that both MJ and Ned knew about his secret identity.]

[So he immediately stood up with urgent determination, but as soon as he moved he felt sharp pain shoot through his knee. However, he couldn't afford to worry about his injuries right now.]

["GUARDS!!!" he yelled desperately as he pressed himself against the cell door.]

["The guard is taking his break right now, probably talking to his wife on the phone!" One of the fans behind him shrugged casually.]

["Yeah! His wife is pregnant with their first child!"]

["Oh! Really? That's wonderful!"]

["It's already 14 weeks along!"]

[The prisoners were chatting casually in the background. When Spider-Man realized that the guard wasn't responding to his calls, he reached out and carefully touched the padlock securing the cell. With just a small application of his enhanced strength, he easily broke the metal lock.]

[The three Dutch fans were absolutely shocked by this display. One of them, who hadn't clearly seen how Spider-Man had escaped from the locked cell, said with amazement, "Are you completely crazy?"]

[Spider-Man pushed open the cell door and walked out into the corridor, where he spotted the guard wearing his confiscated Night Monkey suit while having a phone conversation.]

[He tilted his head thoughtfully, decided to ignore the guard entirely, and left the detention facility directly, leaving the three amazed fans staring at each other in disbelief. One of them slowly walked over, examined the broken padlock on the ground, and quietly closed the cell door.]

"Wow! That's actually us! We're on the interdimensional screen?" Several of the Dutch fans were genuinely excited. This meant they were being shown to the entire world and even the entire universe! It was incredibly thrilling, and since they hadn't done anything wrong, it was even better!

Little Peter Parker was in a noticeably low mood, as he hadn't expected that his older self would appear so helpless under Quentin Beck's psychological manipulation, completely lacking the confident style he had displayed when fighting both Captain America and Winter Soldier simultaneously during the Civil War.

Aunt May gently touched his head and continued comforting him. Looking at the dejected child in front of him, Nick Fury felt somewhat tired and wasn't sure what encouraging words to offer.

Harry and Ned were actively brainstorming ways to cheer up little Peter and restore his spirits.

Tony stroked his chin thoughtfully and realized that he had significantly underestimated Spider-Man's physical resilience and recovery abilities.

After being struck by a speeding freight train, Spider-Man had certainly been injured, but it didn't appear that any bones had been seriously fractured or that he had suffered life-threatening internal damage.

Although he had lost consciousness from the impact, his injuries had improved considerably after just a day of rest, which demonstrated that Spider-Man possessed self-healing abilities that far exceeded those of ordinary humans.

Maybe his regenerative powers couldn't be compared to the limb regeneration capabilities of Dr. Connors or Aldrich Killian that they had seen on the Sky Screen, but he definitely had remarkably strong recovery capabilities.

[Spider-Man emerged outside the detention center and was still wearing his orange prison uniform. Being completely unfamiliar with this location, he had no idea where he was or how to proceed.]

["Where exactly is this place?" He limped forward with obvious discomfort and approached a shop owner who appeared to be selling various livestock including chickens, cattle, and sheep.]

["Excuse me, sir! Could I possibly borrow your cell phone?"]

[The shop owner glanced at him briefly and responded with genuine enthusiasm: "Of course! Here you go!"]

["The people here are incredibly nice! Okay! Let me think about this!" Spider-Man sighed with relief and began trying to recall the correct phone number.]

[He quickly dialed Happy's number with nervous fingers, "Pick up! Pick up! Pick up!"]

[As soon as the call connected, Spider-Man couldn't wait to speak, "Hey! Hey! I'm in serious trouble! Can you come pick me up? But where am I exactly?"]

[This question immediately stumped Spider-Man. He looked at the helpful shop owner beside him and asked, "Sir! What is the name of this place?"]

["This is Broek op Langedijk!"]

[This incredibly long and complicated Dutch name left Spider-Man completely confused, "(⊙o⊙)... Could you possibly speak directly into the microphone?"]

["Hi! This is Broek op Langedijk! Yeah! You're very welcome!" The shop owner helpfully repeated the place name clearly into the phone.]

["Thank you so much! Happy, did you understand that?"]

[Spider-Man then limped slowly to a beautiful flower field, which was the location he and Happy had agreed upon for their meeting.]

[A private jet roared overhead from behind Spider-Man and landed smoothly in the field in front of him. Spider-Man walked toward it as quickly as his injuries would allow, but when he got closer, he slowed down considerably and began to hesitate.]

[Happy walked down from the aircraft and called out with concern: "Peter! Are you okay!"]

["Happy! Is that really you?"]

[Although Happy didn't understand why Spider-Man was asking such an obvious question, he still replied confidently: "Yeah! Of course it's me!"]

[Having been thoroughly traumatized by Quentin Beck's deceptions, Spider-Man shouted defensively, "Stop right there! Tell me something that only you would know!"]

["Something only I know... Um... Remember when we went to Germany together? You were watching a paid video while staying in the hotel? Although it wasn't specifically itemized on the bill, when I saw the unusual charge when I checked out, I told you that you must have watched an adult movie! You couldn't figure out how I knew that!"]

[Spider-Man quickly interrupted him with embarrassment, "Okay! Okay! I get it! It's really you! Please stop talking about that!"]

[He walked forward and embraced Happy with genuine relief, "It's so great to see you!" No one could truly understand what a painful and psychologically torturous experience Spider-Man had endured over the past few days.]

[This was the first time Happy had ever seen Spider-Man behave with such emotional vulnerability, "Peter! Tell me exactly what happened to you!"]

"Adult movie?" Aunt May looked at little Peter Parker with a distinctly strange expression.

Harry and Ned also stared at him with their mouths hanging open in surprise.

"Oh! That wasn't me!" Little Peter no longer cared about his previously depressed mood. His cheeks turned bright red instantly. He immediately forgot about his earlier feelings of defeat and started nervously tapping his toes on the ground.

Tony laughed heartily and said, "This kid really does have my youthful spirit and curiosity!"

Rhodes rolled his eyes dramatically and thought to himself, could it be that this kid's interest in romance has been influenced by your terrible example?
