Chapter 521 - Chapter 521: Magical Mirror Space

[Realizing that he couldn't afford to get entangled in a prolonged confrontation, Spider-Man immediately fired spider silk toward a nearby building to attempt his escape. Strange decisively waved his hands and drew a perfect circle in the air. A mystical portal materialized instantly, and Spider-Man's web line flew directly into it, but someone suddenly appeared from behind and grabbed his feet with firm grip.]

[Strange twisted his fingers to conjure a brilliant golden thread of mystical energy, pulled Spider-Man toward him with irresistible force, and delivered a precise palm strike to his chest. Spider-Man's soul was instantly knocked out of his physical body, and the world around him seemed to slow to an almost complete stop.]

[Spider-Man's translucent soul floated freely in the air, looking down at his ghostly spiritual form in complete amazement. In this soul state, there were numerous curved, wave-like fluctuations visible near Spider-Man's head, and his spider-sense was clearly displayed in visual form for the very first time.]

["Oh my God! I'm actually dead!!! This can't be happening!!!"]

[Strange replied with characteristic calm authority: "You are not dead at all! Your soul has simply temporarily left your physical body!"]

["An out-of-body experience? What exactly is that supposed to mean?"]

[Strange reached out confidently to retrieve the magical containment box, but Spider-Man's body automatically dodged his attempt with perfect reflexes. Strange couldn't help but mutter to himself with genuine confusion: "How did you possibly manage to do that?"]

[Spider-Man heard his bewildered question and responded honestly: "I honestly don't know either!" He looked down at his physical body and watched it unconsciously changing the position of its arms in defensive postures.]

[Strange failed to touch the magic box several times in rapid succession. He began seriously doubting his understanding of mystical principles: "You shouldn't be able to control your body while in soul form!"]

[Spider-Man carefully examined his translucent spiritual body with fascination. "This feels absolutely incredible!" He then swam through the air toward his physical form and successfully merged back into his body.]

[The moment his soul re-entered his flesh, the world's flow speed immediately resumed normal pace, and he fell backward to the ground with jarring impact. He instantly jumped up with a fluid somersault to regain his footing.]

["I've never experienced anything so amazing in my entire life! But please don't do that to me again!"]

[After delivering this warning, he fired spider silk and attempted to leave the area. Seeing this defiant escape attempt, Strange immediately removed his mystical cloak and threw it in pursuit.]

"Wow! So that's what the state of the soul leaving the body actually looks like? Why is he wearing regular clothes instead of his combat suit?" Tony witnessed a human soul for the first time with his own eyes, and countless scientific questions immediately flooded his mind.

Ever since Wanda and her allies had knocked Banner and Hulk's souls out of their shared body so they could have direct conversations, Tony had always desperately wanted to understand how to perceive and study the existence of souls.

According to Banner's detailed descriptions, the sensation of the soul leaving the body was extraordinarily strange - even the flow of time itself seemed to slow down dramatically. However, Tony couldn't directly experience or measure what Banner had described.

It wasn't until this moment, when he witnessed Spider-Man's soul being forcibly separated from his body, that Tony keenly observed that the speed of falling leaves had slowed down by countless factors.

He couldn't help but wonder: if he could conduct research while in a soul state, wouldn't that effectively save enormous amounts of time?

Strange appreciated Tony's innovative thinking because he himself had rapidly improved his mystical abilities by reading ancient magic books through out-of-body experiences. Otherwise, he would never have been able to keep pace with Wanda's natural talents.

"So this approach actually works in practice?" Tony was surprised that someone had actually implemented this concept. He had merely been theorizing.

"Yes! It is indeed feasible and highly effective! But the risks are also extremely high. After all, without the protection of your physical body, your soul becomes incredibly vulnerable to targeting. Unless you're safely within Kamar-Taj's protective barriers, it's best never to attempt this!"

Christine rolled her eyes at Strange's encouragement and solemnly explained to Tony the serious dangers of such mystical experimentation.

[Spider-Man was swinging on his webbing ahead, while the Cloak of Levitation was pursuing him from behind. The mystical garment soon caught up and ensnared him in mid-air.]

[Spider-Man was instantly horrified by this development: "What the... Hey! Let me go right now!!!"]

[Strange approached and observed the two figures suspended in the air. Spider-Man struggled desperately and finally managed to break free from the cloak's grip, but he also lost his balance completely and crashed through the window of a nearby building.]

[Seeing this collision, Strange extended his finger and twisted it with precise mystical gesture. A crack resembling a shattered glass lens appeared in the air. Spider-Man ran directly into this dimensional fissure and immediately emerged from the opposite direction.]

[The transition was so seamless that Spider-Man had no time to notice anything unusual before entering the mirror dimension.]

[When he suddenly found himself inexplicably appearing in the sky, with the city below beginning to spin and form a massive spiraling hole, all of this completely amazed him.]

[At this moment, Earth's gravity seemed to be completely non-existent. The little spider passed horizontally through building structures in a state of free fall. There were pedestrians walking normally below, but they seemed completely oblivious to the little spider passing over their heads.]

[Strange slowly descended and landed on the wall of a building, walking across its surface as if it were perfectly flat ground. As he raised his hands with mystical authority, the surrounding buildings were constantly transformed and rearranged by his absolute control.]

[The little spider rapidly moved through this bizarre and impossible world, shooting out web lines for navigation. Wherever he traveled, countless buildings and tangible objects were continuously changing and reshaping, as if the entire environment was attempting to trap him.]

[Fortunately, Spider-Man was consistently able to dodge these transformations with his exceptional agility and reflexes. He leaped out of the densely constructed urban area and reached a more open park space.]

[Strange flew behind him with his cloak billowing, summoned a brilliant magic circle in each hand, and then hurled them directly at Spider-Man's position.]

[Although the little spider successfully avoided the first magical attack, the two glowing circles flew ahead of him and extended golden mystical threads between them. Spider-Man was caught completely off guard and struck the barrier, immediately losing his balance and orientation.]

[Directly in front of his falling trajectory, a full passenger train emerged from a mystical portal and was traveling suspended in the air. Spider-Man crashed headfirst into the front of the locomotive, and the precious magic box in his hand immediately fell from his grasp.]

[Strange flew toward the falling magic box with his cloak providing lift. Just as he was about to successfully grab the container, the little spider lying on the train's front immediately pulled it back toward himself with a perfectly aimed strand of spider silk.]

[Strange looked at the determined little spider and sighed with obvious helplessness.]

[Spider-Man flipped over and jumped onto the roof of the moving train: "What exactly is this place?"]

["The Mirror Dimension! I have complete and absolute control here!" Strange waved his hand and numerous golden mystical stripes appeared around them. Then massive buildings materialized simultaneously above and below their heads, defying all natural laws.]

[The train continued traveling through the air in impossible trajectories. It was no longer recognizable as New York City. The environment resembled traveling through mountainous terrain suspended in space.]

["Strange, please stop this! Can we just talk like reasonable people?"]

[Strange felt genuinely frustrated by the situation: "Parker! You absolutely must understand that in the infinite multiverse, there are countless individuals who know that Peter Parker is Spider-Man! If the spell continues to malfunction, all those people will eventually come here!!!"]

[Spider-Man certainly understood the cosmic implications, but at this moment, his overwhelming sympathy prevented him from thinking rationally about the consequences: "I know the risks! But we cannot send them home to certain death!"]

[Strange delivered a solemn warning with mystical authority: "This is their predetermined fate! You cannot change their cosmic destiny! You cannot alter their fundamental nature!"]

[Spider-Man still refused to abandon his moral position: "But what if we actually can? What if we can genuinely change their fate and help them become better people?"]
