After arriving at the hot spring hotel and completing the check-in, Ichin finally realized that there was only a single suite reserved.
Holding the room key, Utaha said, "It can't be helped. Rooms have been pretty tight lately. Being able to book even one room is already good enough. Besides, there's a private bath inside, so there's no need to book anything extra—it's more than enough for the three of us."

"Last year, when we all came together," Utaha replied. Then she poured Ichin a cup of sake. "Here, Ichin."
Taking it and having a sip, Ichin found the taste unexpectedly good. He glanced at the small bottle and asked, "Utaha, what kind of sake did you order?"
"I'm not really sure either. I just told them to bring two bottles of their premium stuff. It was pretty expensive, but the taste is good, right, Yukino?"
As for Yukino, she had already downed several cups, her cheeks flushed bright red.
"Mmm… good sake."
"See? I told you drinking here feels really nice," Utaha said as she held her cup and shifted closer to Ichin, leaning against his shoulder as she took a small sip. "Yukino, come over here too. Let's drink together."
"Coming."
Nodding, Yukino slowly moved over as well. Instead of going to Utaha's side, however, she came to Ichin's other side and, mimicking Utaha, leaned against him.
At that moment, Ichin's entire body instantly stiffened.
