"Are you insane? If we let him enter the academy, he could be in danger!"
(Luzbel said, pulling Zarathoz away from Morgan with a sharp, almost aggressive gesture.)
"And I won't let that happen… I won't allow it."
(Luzbel said angrily, spreading her wings violently, making the air tremble.)
"Do you want to do this again, Lu? I don't mind playing with you a little more."
(Zarathoz said playfully, with a smile that provoked and challenged.)
Zarathoz's body began to emit a wave of heat that slowly intensified, raising the temperature until the very air felt heavy.
The two stared at each other, defiant… Zarathoz with a dangerous smile, Luzbel with a hardened, almost lethal expression. Neither spoke. The silence between them was so dense it felt ready to shatter into shouts.
It wasn't until Morgan gently tugged at Luzbel's clothes that they finally looked away. Luzbel turned her head toward him, and Morgan sighed.
"I appreciate your concern for me, but I'm the one who wants to enter."
(Morgan said with a soft, kind smile.)
Luzbel crouched slightly and held Morgan by the shoulders. Her eyes showed fear, and her face was filled with worry—deep worry.
"Listen, Morgan… being here is very dangerous for you. In many ways."
(Luzbel said, lowering her gaze and her voice, as if she felt guilty.)
"It would be best if you left… far away… somewhere no one can find you. If you want, I can take you there, alright?"
(Luzbel said hopefully, almost pleading.)
Morgan took Luzbel's hands, moved them away from his shoulders, and held them gently.
"I appreciate your offer, Miss Luzbel… but I can't accept it. I want to be here. I need to test myself, I need to prove something… in this place. I'm very sorry, but I can't accept what you're asking of me."
(Morgan said, lowering his head apologetically.)
Luzbel lowered her head, powerless, disappointed… But Morgan lifted her hands to her chest, bringing his face closer to hers, filled with determination.
"So please let me enter… alright? I'm begging you, please allow me to enter this academy."
(Morgan said with a warm smile.)
Luzbel stepped back slightly, her face flushing despite herself. Then she looked toward Zarathoz.
"Come on, Lu. The boy wants to be here. Don't worry, he'll be fine. I'll make sure Satana stays with him at all times. What do you think?"
(Zarathoz said, looking at Satana with playful confidence.)
"Yes, don't worry. Leave him to me. I'll make sure Morgan is alright."
(Satana said with a smile, raising a hand in a salute.)
"See? Everything will be fine. So don't worry so much."
Luzbel looked back at Morgan, and in her eyes you could see that she was begging him to give her just one more reason to say no… but then she saw the confident smile on Zarathoz's face.
Luzbel closed her eyes, sighed, straightened her posture, and said firmly:
"Very well. I will allow him to enter the academy."
Morgan smiled with explosive, almost childlike joy. But Luzbel, with a more severe tone, added:
"I accept that you enter the academy… but under three conditions."
(Luzbel said, looking first at Morgan, then at Zarathoz.)
"Oh… and what are they?"
(Zarathoz asked curiously.)
"First: at the first sign of trouble… I will take him out of here.
Second: if anything happens, no matter how small or insignificant it seems… you will tell me."
(Luzbel said seriously, looking directly into her eyes without blinking.)
"Hm… fair enough. And what's the third?"
(Zarathoz asked, crossing her arms.)
"The third condition is that he will be in my class. To make sure he's always safe."
Zarathoz's expression twisted. She didn't like it. But even so, she accepted reluctantly.
"Do you agree with this?"
(Luzbel asked seriously, but with a softness she only showed to him.)
Morgan smiled and agreed. Luzbel still felt uneasy, as if something might go wrong—a bad omen—but she knew he would insist a thousand times even if she refused.
"Then it is done."
(Zarathoz said, clapping loudly, the sound echoing through the room.)
"Satana, I've prepared a room for him. Take him there, please."
Zarathoz reached into her pocket and pulled out a circular emblem with an M in the center and stylized gills on the sides. She placed it in Satana's hands, who nodded lightly.
"Alright, it's time for me to go. I still have things to do. See you, Lu… and you, little cute lamb."
(Zarathoz said, looking at Morgan with a playful, seductive smile.)
Zarathoz left the room. Morgan watched her leave, uncomfortable, irritated.
Satana approached him and placed the emblem in his hand. The moment he touched it, the emblem levitated and headed toward the door, trying to leave.
"Whoa, whoa! What is that?"
(Morgan exclaimed, impressed.)
"Come, let's go. I'll take you to your room."
(Satana said with a big smile.)
"Wait… I'm going with you."
(Luzbel said, letting out a small laugh that eased the tension.)
Once again, Satana took Morgan by the hand and opened the door, letting the emblem out. The three followed it.
"That emblem will lead us to your room. My lady creates one for every new student who arrives. That way, no one gets lost."
(Satana said cheerfully.)
"Really? That's amazing."
(Morgan said, surprised and delighted.)
Luzbel watched them from behind, listening to how they talked, how they laughed… and she smiled. The atmosphere was warm, unexpectedly pleasant.
"Maybe he really can…"
(Luzbel whispered to herself.)
But suddenly, out in the open courtyard, a crowd was shouting, panicked. Something was happening.
Luzbel, Morgan, and Satana stopped.
"What's going on?"
(Luzbel said, alarmed.)
Curious, Morgan pushed his way through the crowd.
"Morgan, wait!"
(Luzbel shouted before he disappeared among the people.)
Satana tried to follow him, but the noise was too much, making it impossible to track him.
Morgan reached the front… and saw her.
The human girl he had saved earlier was lying on the ground.
"Oh… it's her. I should say hi."
(Morgan thought, naïvely cheerful.)
But before he could approach, a young woman with purple hair kicked him brutally in the face.
"Do you have any idea what you caused, you filthy scum?!"
(The purple-haired girl shouted, full of rage.)
"P-please forgive me… princess…"
(The girl on the ground said weakly, barely able to speak.)
"Because of you my sister scolded me! Because of you she hit me!"
Princess Aioria was out of control.
She crouched, grabbed the human by the hair, and kneed her in the face, making her nose crack. Blood poured out uncontrollably.
"Hahaha, the princess really is mad. I've never seen her like this.
I hope they clean up the corpse soon… it would ruin the garden to have that thing lying there."
(Voices from the crowd murmured, laughing cruelly.)
The princess, believing the laughter was directed at her, snapped.
She threw herself over the girl and began beating her relentlessly, splattering herself with blood.
"Why? Why won't you stop humiliating me? You're nothing! You're garbage! Why do you make me look bad in front of everyone… first with Superior Kalista, then with my sister… and now this?!"
(Aioria screamed through sobs of rage and frustration.)
The princess stopped for a moment.
The human, barely conscious, lifted a trembling hand and wiped Aioria's tears.
"D-don't… cry… princess… I-I'm sorry…"
That gesture… that final, gentle gesture…
The crowd laughed even harder.
Aioria froze.
And then… she completely lost control.
"Pity?
What you just showed me… is pity?
For what?
For who?
WHY?!"
(The princess screamed, consumed by fury.)
She lifted the girl by the hair. The human was already unconscious.
Shadows began enveloping Aioria's hand.
Twisted mouths emerged from the dark smoke, filled with sharp teeth and wet, sickening sounds.
"You… you… YOU!!"
She screamed chillingly, bringing her hand down toward the girl's face.
But someone stopped her.
Another hand gripped hers tightly.
Everything went silent.
Aioria froze.
She looked at the hand holding hers and then slowly at the owner.
A young man with pink hair and pink eyes… whose expression held both contained fury and deep sadness.
In a voice trembling with restrained anger, he said:
"What do you think you're doing?"
End of the chapter.
