Chapter 54 - A glitch, or not?

Third-person POV

Zephyra squinted at Astraea, who stood stiff as a board by the door, looking like she'd rather be anywhere else in the universe. Her hands hung awkwardly by her sides, her expression stuck somewhere between guilt and panic.

It had been a whole minute since either of them had said anything, and in that time, Zephyra had tied her towel around herself, dried the rest of her hair as best as she could, and waited for Astraea to at least blink.

She hadn't.

"Okay," Zephyra finally said, folding her arms and raising a brow, "are you just going to stand there looking like someone caught you sneaking into a male dorm, or are you going to say something?"

Astraea blinked.

Zephyra tilted her head. "I mean, unless you'd rather let me go on thinking you're a pervert."

A loud, tired sigh came from Astraea, who finally rubbed her temples and groaned like the entire situation had aged her ten years.
