KA-BOOOM!
A huge thunder-like explosion rocked the mountain with so much force that not only was a violent gust of wind blown up, the shockwave that followed was so intense that the whole mountain shuddered like it might split in half.
Even Grey's unconscious body was sent skidding several inches across the cracked stone. He stopped just a metre away from the jagged edge of the mountain, a cliffside drop nearly twenty metres high that promised certain death if he slipped further.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Three consecutive bangs followed, each one louder than the last, as Thalos began swinging his greatsword around like a maniac. His movements were so quick that his arms blurred, each strike a blur of steel as he countered every one of the phoenix's vicious blows. Sparks and shockwaves erupted with each collision, shaking the ground below.
