Chapter 625
'Make them co-exist? How do I even do that? How can I make it work?' Grey thought as the demon closed in on him at terrifying speed, so fast that the Supreme Magus was forced to snap his eyes open right as a pair of claws streaked toward his head.
"Shit!" Grey muttered as he ducked lower than his body could comfortably handle. The claws ripped through the air above him with a thunderous bang that shook the entire arena.
An opening appeared, clear and perfect, but just as Grey moved to take it, he felt invisible strings slicing through the air toward him. He reacted instantly, flipping backwards, flipping again, and landing metres away from the demon.
'Crap! Just a few more seconds.' Grey thought as frustration burned in his chest. He clenched his fists, breathing shakily, then reached into his pocket without hesitation. 'Whatever happens should happen.'
