“Hey! What's going on? Wh…why are you quivering? Why haven't you sealed his magic yet?”

The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

“Wh-who are you? Wh-what even are you?”

“...”

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

BANG—!

'Oh boy. This is bad.' Ash gulped as the deafening bang erupted from Frowny's charge, officially signalling the brutal commencement of the clash.


Grey wasted no time shifting into a combat stance, arm stretched forward while a lightning sword crackled into existence within his grasp, concealed from the robed man's view.


Frowny's body blocked the weapon completely, preventing the observer from noticing the flickering blade.


Sensing danger, Frowny swiftly manifested a visible Ki sword inside his palm, the weapon brimming with lethal force and the pressure of a battle seasoned veteran.


Within a heartbeat, he was already upon the mage, blade arcing overhead before crashing downward like a cleaver meant to split flesh and bone apart.


Wind spiralled around Grey's feet in a flash, launching him sideways as the Ki sword narrowly missed him by a hair's breadth.
