The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“Wh-who are you? Wh-what even are you?”

“...”

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

BANG—!

 His mouth unconsciously hung wide open as he stared at Frowny's split body, shock colliding with disbelief, confusion piling upon confusion.


"H…how? But…but he is a stage 6 warrior and you are just a stage 4 warrior even with magic so how? He…he told me…"


Robed man kept stuttering at intervals, his voice breaking apart under terror mixed with disbelief as his eyes refused to leave the corpse.


"He…he said that his Ki barrier is strong enough to withstand even a strike at half the strength of a stage 8 warrior. So how…how did you bypass it and kill him? I'm…I'm…"


"Confused?" Grey completed calmly, a dry chuckle reverberating through the open air.


Robed man finally lifted his gaze from Frowny's lifeless remains toward the warrior mage, who flicked his wrists subtly, causing the lightning swords within his grip to dissolve into sparks before vanishing completely.
