The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“...”

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

BANG—!

"Yo… you aren't upset or blaming me for the deaths of Millie and Vanessa?"


Yami chuckled loudly, the sound echoing off the barren walls.


"What?!" Grey's mouth hung open in absolute shock.


Hearing this revelation, Noir calmly sat back down and resumed licking his paw and fur.


 For a familiar king of his stature, the activity appeared somewhat demeaning, yet he seemed entirely unbothered by the domestic setting.


Yami merely rubbed his dark hair while letting out an awkward chuckle.


"Clarice here informed me regarding how powerful you have become.


 Consequently, I attacked you to force you into using those mythical powers against me. I wanted to assess exactly how strong you actually are when your life is truly on the line."


Yami sighed heavily as he stepped forward and lightly slammed his palm against the mage's head in a playful yet firm manner.
