“...”

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

BANG—!

The trio woke up feeling quite refreshed after letting out their burdens the previous night. 


The air felt cool and refreshing after the heavy downpour that had soaked the land hours earlier.


Clarice quickly got to work cooking the day's meal while Yami helped wherever he could, occasionally bickering with Noir as he tried to elicit a reaction from the wolf.


Either the familiar snarled in irritation or threatened to burn the human alive outright.


Grey occasionally chuckled as he watched the mild liveliness unfold before him, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.


Yet, a thought still lingered heavily in his mind.


'I need to help Yami sir rebuild his home, which was destroyed because of me. For that, I would need to head back to the Noxarian faction and get my share of the money from the pill business.'


'But first, I need to eat. I'm starving.'
