“Hey! What's going on? Wh…why are you quivering? Why haven't you sealed his magic yet?”

The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

“Wh-who are you? Wh-what even are you?”

“...”

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

BANG—!

Mada's body could be seen skipping across the ground for a few seconds before he angrily dug his ki-enhanced fingers into the earth, clawing his body into a grinding halt.


Yet, the beast gave him no time for respite as, within a flash, it appeared before him with one hoof raised above its head, ready to deliver a crushing heel kick toward the descendant's skull.


Feeling the violent distortion of the air, Mada charged his hands with Ki and sprang off to the side just at the right moment, therefore evading the kick by a narrow margin.


The ground shattered in a rain of dust and debris as a small crater about three metres wide and deep appeared in an instant.


Without wasting any motion, Mada sprang to his feet and punched the air with all his might twice, sending two invisible ki fists shooting toward the beast at break-neck speed.
