' Sigh... Poor girl. I definitely know how that must feel.' Lin Mu shook his head with pity inwardly.
' Big sister...' Mei scrambled to her feet, her playful demeanor gone, replaced by a quiet worry. "I'll go after her," she murmured, casting a glance at Lin Mu before hurrying out.
Lin Mu seized the moment, rising as well, his voice steady but urgent.
" You needn't worry sir."
"I'll check on her too," he said, though his intentions lay elsewhere. He slipped out into the night, the cold air biting at his skin as he scanned the camp.
