Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: Phantom alliance

Back in the human realm, Natasha stood outside of the hotel. She looked at the ruined city and sighed. A mask formed on her shoulder as Mayker said, "Humanity will be permanently scarred because of the Abyssal virus." Natasha remained silent and started walking towards the woods in the distance. Natasha remained unresponsive for a few hours. Mayker felt that Natasha's body was going to collapse. Mayker said, "Natasha, you should eat. You haven't relaxed since you left the hotel. We have been walking through these woods for hours." Natasha didn't respond, but suddenly a mighty roar came from the distance; a huge bear came charging at her. She swiftly summoned some Tendrils and impaled the bear's legs with them. The bear started roaring loudly, but without hesitation Natasha used her Tendril to cut off the bear's head. Suddenly her vision started to fade, and she fell to the ground. Mayker tried to support her while saying, "You should have listened; now your body is exhausted." Natasha started falling unconscious, but as her vision started to go blurry, she saw a woman with purple hair and with pointy horns. She said, "What do we have here?" The woman was Shiki; she picked her up and started walking towards a cave. Melty was standing inside the cave. She looked down at Natasha and said, "This person has a very strong link to the abyss." Shiki smirked before heading inside the cave; she placed Natasha's body wrapped in blankets on the floor. Shiki went over to Melty and saw her drawing out blueprints. Melty said, "This device will allow us to warp space, but it's going to take a while to bring forth oblivion." Shiki stood there deep in thought until a black tendril grazed Shiki's cheek as Natasha said, "Where am I, and who are you guys?" Natasha felt a familiar presence coming from Shiki. Melty swiftly cut down the tendrils as Melty grabbed Natasha by the neck, but before any pressure was added, Shiki grabbed Melty's shoulder and said, "Melty, there's no need for that. My name is Shiki Kiriji, also known as the Black Fragment." Natasha was dumbfounded hearing that Shiki was a fragment; she stood up and walked towards the blueprints on the table. Mayker came out of Natasha's shoulder and said, 'They plan to bring forth oblivion.' Natasha turned and looked at Mayker and said, 'You know what this oblivion is.' Mayker started flowing images into Natasha's mind. Natasha gasped before saying, "This oblivion is a realm that was completely hidden away." Natasha turned her head towards Shiki and said, "What do you plan to do with oblivion?" Shiki remained silent, then said, "I plan to turn oblivion into something of great purpose. If you wish to see what happens, you are more than happy to join us." Without hesitation, Natasha agreed to join them. Shiki grabbed Natasha's shoulder and headed outside. Before leaving, she said, "Melty, make her a weapon; she's going to need it." Melty had a disappointing look on her face before blood tendrils started. Coming out of her fingertips. The blood started forming around Natasha's body; it started to take shape in Natasha's hand as a bow and arrows appeared. Melty said, "This blood creates the best weapon based on the person's combat style. "This bow is yours; use it however you wish." Before Natasha could respond, a massive amount of mana started coming from outside. Shiki walked towards the entrance, summoning E.N.D. in her hand. Natasha looked at E.N.D. and said, "That sword, it has a massive amount of mana coming from it." Melty drew a simple-looking sword before joining Shiki. Before Natasha could join them, Mayker wrapped her legs in place. Natasha shouted at Mayker, saying, "What is the meaning of this? Release me." Mayker ignored her shouting and said, "If you choose this path, I cannot foresee what is going to happen to this shiki Kiriji." I cannot read her future. I will not stop you if this is the path you want to take, but it holds unknown danger." Natasha gripped her fist and said, "The unknown sure will be dangerous, but I'm curious to see what this oblivion will be, but nevertheless, I shall face this danger head-on." Mayker laughed in response before covering Natasha in its tendrils, fully engulfing her body. Mayker Tendrills slowly started to vanish as Natasha had a new white and blue outfit and a black pair of horns. The maker mask was hanging off the belt of her bottoms. Natasha ran out of the cave and said, "What's with the horns?" Mayker laughed and responded, "With accepting more of my power, your body will continue to change." Natasha felt an overwhelming amount of mana inside of her, then Shiki shouted her name, "NATASHA, TAKE THEM OUT!" Natasha looked in the distance and saw Netherrealm forces surrounding them; she swiftly fired multiple arrows towards them, killing some soldiers as Shiki's eyes glowed and multiple soldiers were cut to pieces. Natasha and Shiki stood back-to-back fighting off the rest of the soldiers until there was nothing left. Melty sheathed her sword and walked up to them, saying, "We really should go; this place isn't safe." Shiki nodded before using E.N.D. to cut Opening the space in front of them, while Melty and Natasha followed behind, Shiki said, "We must head to the Underworld; I have an Overlord to meet." The space rift closed as the three of them headed towards the Underworld.
