Li was not an idiot by any means, but to progress so far in the path of cultivation, he naturally had to make some sacrifices and dedicate most of his time to training, especially since unlike most other talents in the domain, he was of those who could only train a single technique at a time, only able to switch after a long period of rest, or if he managed to bring his current technique to its very peak, but he had picked a difficult one to master.
He had chosen a weapon cultivation technique called 'Glaciation Spear', which was not solely related to a weapon, but also to a specific element, as it turned out that he had an affinity for ice, so he decided to make the most of it and picked an arduous technique when given the occasion to, but even after all those years of diligent practise, his mastery of this technique was still considered insufficient, to make up for what he perceived as a lack of pure talent, he was prepared to go on a journey to find resources and things that could help him get through that bottleneck.
So, although Jingyi occupied a large portion of his heart, when he had learned that she was safe at Edrick's residence, he greatly relaxed and felt that everything would be fine.
So he didn't see it coming at all.
Yi, on the other hand, was more of an intellectual type, although endowed with great talent in cultivation, and blessed with a special ability from birth, he chose to pursue a career as a prosecutor, seeking to help in spreading justice and righteousness.
However, to successfully track down criminals and those who do evil, one needs to have an understanding of them, as such, the prosecutor was typically always suspicious of people, Edrick was no exception, in fact, him being an Elt made him all the more suspicious compared to the average person, it was something that was no secret to anyone, but all acted like they were none the wiser.
Amongst the many great clans and their vassals, the Elt were somewhat special, they did not have a core technique that their clan was built upon, there was surely something about them that was special or something that they possessed, but it was not a technique like the Pain Sutra or Poison Sutra.
Their vassals, instead, were the worst possible sects and groups one could think of, the likes of devil worshippers and practitioners of cultivation techniques requiring most foul acts to be trained.
As such, amongst the members of the great clans that one could run into, the Elt were the most infamous for being needlessly cruel, in short, no one who knew the first thing about them would want to get near any, at least, for the common folks.
Yi had naturally suspected that Anoteros had something to do with the crimes he investigated, but throwing accusations without tangible proof was not his style, especially not when the person had a powerful background, which was tantamount to stabbing oneself in the stomach for no reason.
In spite of this suspicion that he had always held onto, the vision that greeted him when the other side of the glass was lit up was one that utterly took him by surprise, his mask of composure crumbling away instantly as he was left in shock.
Both Li and Yi felt their jaws go slack.
What they had first thought to be a mirror was actually a window, and what laid on the other side was a red room with what looked like soft ground and walls, as well as a small couch of sorts, the way it was made allowed for them to see everything that was happening on the other side, in great details.
For a few seconds, they didn't quite comprehend what they were seeing, it was simply hard to believe.
But their eyes were not deceiving them, sitting on the couch was a naked Anoteros, his solid serpent being tended to by a nude Jingyi on her knees, her soft green eyes had never looked so intense, utterly fixated on the massive piece of masculinity in her hands, basically drooling in lustful hunger.
Edrick caressed her white hair in the same way one might with a pet.
"Come on, Jingyi, let's not make our guests wait for too long, alright?" he said in a casual tone, but his voice was clearly audible to the two onlookers.
"Of course, Master! I won't delay!" much to their dismay, she replied with the brightest, most lively smile they had ever seen on her face, as she carefully wrapped both hands around the base of Edrick's tower, and eagerly began to move up and down whilst passionately kissing his tip.
Then, she took it in, muffled moans immediately escaping the girl, as though the mere act of having her dear master's club inside of her mouth was terribly arousing, the way Jingyi was serving Anoteros was not quite adept, but it was full of goodwill and pent-up lust, making the scene look as though she was sharing a deep kiss with a lover she had not seen for years.
"What the hell-" Li was the first to break out of the initial shock, standing up from his seat, only to weakly stumble back into it.
"Is something-" Yi tried to stand up as well, but didn't even manage to rise before experiencing a feeling of vertigo.
"I think the drinks were laced with something…" the core disciple felt that trying to move would only accelerate the effect of whatever they had ingested, and so, the two of them could only bear witness to the spectacle before them, a show they definitely did not sign up for.
They could only watch helplessly as Edrick pulled her head off his sceptre, swiftly picking up the girl and placing her onto the couch, but like it truly was a performance, Anoteros did not settle on just any position, hoisting one of Jingyi's leg upward and pressing it against his chest, his other hand supporting her waist whilst her upper body laid against the couch, it was the perfect position for Yi and Li to see him slowly penetrating the pink palace, his strokes deliberate and strong, each of them getting a loud, erotic moan out of his maid, and when she was not making noises of pure satisfaction, she was expressing unending gratitude and begging for more.
"M-Master… It feels so good! I missed it so much!"
After several minutes, he shifted positions again, this time, the maid was lying on her stomach, facing the window as her backside was up, her master going to town back there whilst firmly holding onto her hips, Jingyi's facial expressions perfectly visible for the spectators.
In the end, as Li and Yi struggled against the effects of the drug, they saw the girl they loved get trounced in several different positions by another man, ending with her on her knees again as she joyfully received a heavy load of Edrick's procreative juices right to the face and chest, trying to catch as much of it as possible in her mouth.
And it was then that they finally fell prey and lost consciousness, everything turning black.
