Before anyone could react, the Ocean of Blades submerged the battlefield and then left. They disappeared as quickly as they appeared. It was as if they had winked out of existence.
The whole thing occurred too fast. Most of the cultivators on the battlefield didn't sense anything at all and didn't know what had happened.

The ocean of glass blades had come in a flash of light and left after the flash. Their speed made it easy to come to the conclusion that they hadn't been there at all. But the nascent soul cultivators knew without a doubt that the ocean of glass blades had existed.
Even if they didn't know what the ocean of glass blades was, and if they weren't sure about what the ocean of blades had done, they were sure that the ocean of glass blades had existed.
