"Since you're homeless, you might as well come home with me." Selina motioned for Logan to take the passenger seat. "I'm driving. I want to take you somewhere."
Logan raised an eyebrow.
Once they were on the road, he noticed they weren't heading toward any residential area—they were driving out of the city.
The cityscape began to fade behind them, tall buildings retreating into the distance. The sky darkened as the sun dipped through the clouds, casting everything in a warm orange glow. In the distance, the outline of the hills began to show. Logan realized they were already beyond the City A limits.
A smile played at the corners of his lips. "Where is Mrs. Reid taking me?"
Selina put on a mock-stern face. "That's for me to know. You got in my car without asking questions—now you're mine. Even if I sold you off, there's nothing you could do about it."
Logan let out a low laugh. As he traced the route in his mind, something clicked. "BW Town?"
