Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: Azazel

[3rd POV]

Seeing that Azazel was at her home, Morgan had a few ideas on what he was even doing there. The chief amongst them was due to the presence of Kokabiel in her general area, as having a rogue fallen of such power in the same place as the heiress sisters of Serafall and Sirzechs was...definitely not a good thing. Anyone who knew Kokabiel could tell exactly what he planned on doing, and that was...worrying.

The other possibility was that he was here to speak with her about the sacred gear that she had shown off during the fight with Rainel. The man was a huge sacred gear nerd, and wanted nothing more than to be able to mimic his fathers creations. So he could be there to ask to study her gear, which she would obviously deny, unless he gave her an absolutely massive payment in return.

Her sacred gear was simply that powerful and that world shattering. Should information of its true nature leak to the other factions, it would cause a lot of unrest. Her peerage by itself was already causing a lot of tension with the other factions and pantheons, but add in a sacred gear that was on par with the strongest longinus's? It could literally start a war.

She hoped that it was the latter, as it would be a much easier conversation. For both him, and her, more specifically her sanity. But she had a feeling that no matter which conversation she was about to have with the man, it would still be annoying. He was well known for his flirty nature, and had likely fallen due to lust.

'At least I know for a fact that I can beat him should he try anything for whatever reason' Morgan thought, knowing that the man was around Serafall's level in power, and she had surpassed her for a while now, her new abilities pushing her to the very edge of being super class, now she just needed a final nudge or two and she would be there.

Walking out of the front door of her mansion, she began to walk over to the gate where the man was waiting. He had his hands in his pockets and a small smirk on his face as he watched her walk over to him.

'The real question is, how did he find my address? This place is layered with all sorts of wards and barriers that should make it next to impossible for anyone to find it, unless someone far more powerful than me helped him. But there isn't a single fallen angel out there at that level of power, Azazel being the closest. And he's not the type to get outside help from some terrorist group or anything' Morgan thought, a little concerned. She would have to look into whatever allowed him to find her, as she stepped up to the gate.

"I was wondering when you'd come on over. I'm assuming you already know who I am, right?" Azazel asked, as he knew that Morgan was incredibly well informed, more than most people in the supernatural world. He could also tell that her senses were well beyond any normal persons, all thanks to the battle she had with Rainel, which at this point he had watched over 50 times, trying to analyze every single detail about Morgan's powers and more specifically her sacred gear.

"I suspect this is for Kokabiel, right? Because we both know I will not be speaking on the other topic you likely have in mind" Morgan replied bluntly, as the man let out a chuckle. He knew that she would have an idea of why he was there, she was simply too smart to not know exactly what he was planning on talking about.

"Hah, you Zagan's always were the smart ones. And yeah, it's about Kokabiel. I see that you know about him being in town, and I'm assuming you already have an educated guess on what he's here for?" Azazel asked causing Morgan to nod, it was very very obvious to anyone who knew even the tiniest bit about the fallen.

"He's here to kill Rias and Sona in hopes of starting the second Great War. I don't understand why, but I know for a fact that he does. I also know that he is in possession of a small army of fallen, rogue exorcists, and even has fragments of Excalibur in his possession" Morgan responded, as she stood on the other side of the gate still, not letting him in.

She wouldn't be letting him in at all, as the other girls were there, and she didn't want to reveal them just yet, not the ones like Valerie. Valerie was someone that she would keep a secret for as long as she possibly can. The girl was the most important weapon to Rizevim, and one that he would do everything in his power to obtain her.

It was because of her sacred gear. It would allow for him to create an army of scale male dragons, made entirely for the purpose of war and death and destruction. A perfect and immensely powerful army that would pose a grave threat if left alone, especially since in canon he would rid them of many of their weaknesses.

"...Yeah that's about right. He's always been a war maniac, but I never thought he'd go to this extent. I'm prepared to send in some of my people to help if you need it. I also want to talk to you about that sacred gear of yours, but I'll wait until the future, wouldn't want you to harm yourself by being here for longer than a couple of hours" Azazel said, a little surpassed with how easily she guessed it, but he supposed that it wasn't exactly rare knowledge or anything, and practically everyone with any sort of ring made for infiltration and spying.

"I won't need any help. My peerage and I will be more than enough for anything he sends my way. Is there anything else you need, or is this conversation over with and I can go back inside to eat in peace with my peerage" Morgan asked, as the man shook his head. He only really came to this shop because it was categorized as such I believe.

"And I also won't be talking with you about my sacred gear, I can already tell you that now. It's something that will remain with me and my peerage, and us alone, so don't bother trying to bribe me or anything" Morgan added, the man full blown pouting at these words, a little annoyed that he wouldn't be able to learn more about the new and one of a kind sacred gear.

He knew for a fact that the gear (besides being a Longinus class gear in terms of power) seemed to have some sort of power that strengthens the demonic energy of the user, and not by a small amount. From his estimates he suspected it was at LEAST a two times multiplier to the demonic power of the one using it. Not only that, but it was likely bound to Morgan and her alone, so you'd have to kill her first to get it. And even that probably wouldn't work.

"Well that is disappointing, but I can't deny that I am not entirely surprised that you denied it. I know that I never would allow another to look at it like I want to, not unless the payment was something I wanted or needed, an incredibly important something. But in your case? You have no reason to "sell her" which is already awful sounding" Azazel responded, not at all surprised.

"Sorry to disappoint, Azazel, but I might find some other stuff I am willing to exchange in a trade, especially more books. I just hope you have your people more under control by that point" Morgan responded, as the man let out a groan.

"That's going to be a lot of paperwork, isn't it?" Azazel grunted, as he despised paperwork, it was one of his least favorite activities in the entire world. Morgan had clones to deal with hers, as well as plenty of other helpers. Combine that with her other powers that would help her deal with paperwork and it makes paperwork easy right now.

"More than likely, but hey, I'm sure you can figure it all out!" Morgan replied, a small teasing grin on her face. She wondered how long it would eventually take for the man to get frustrated which is exactly what would happen sooner or later.

"Yeah yeah, you're really funny" Azazel replied with a fake scowl on his face, as he glanced around Morgan's property for a few moments, before turning back and looking over them all. Her property was impressive all things considered, and that is probably of the wards layering the outside of it, the sheer size of the building in total, and because of the view that is afforded when actually in the property. It truly was a beautiful place.

"I like to think so. Now, is that everything you wished to speak about, or will you be on your merry way" Morgan replied to the older man. She decided she would use her new characters and begin a proper cleaning class for the net generation, as there is a big ass knock in the side

"I'll be on my merry way. I'll make sure to keep an eye on Kokabiel and alert you once you have all your preparation done with and ready to battle it out with him. And I just ask that you try not to kill him if possible, as if you don't, then he'll go to the deepest, more horrific parts of the underworld prisons, when he least expects it" Azazel said as he began to walk off, but not before glancing back at Morgan one final time.

"And try not to underestimate him, will you? He's a crafty bastard, so who knows how he's boosted himself up to a level where he's actually prepared to fight you on even grounds, or at least close to that level. Really you just need to be careful, that's all" Azazel added, before turning back and walking off so he could get outside of the anti-teleportation area that surrounded the mansion for quite some time.

Seeing that Azazel was gone, Morgan let out a sigh.

'That went a lot better than I had thought it would, to be honest. The fact that he dropped the questions regarding the sacred gear was certainly a surprise, as as far as I knew, he really wanted to know more about it. Maybe next time I find a way to properly repay them all without any sort of over the top nonsense like a lot of people likely did' Morgan thought to herself as she walked back to her home, the girls were all either training, watching a movie on tv, or relaxing in their rooms alone.

Sometimes people just needed some alone time, and it seemed a few of the girls needed that, as Morgan went over and plopped down onto her couch, wondering if she should prepare more than she already has for Kokabiel, at least for the kids.

'For now it's just best to keep an eye out for Kokabiel and continue to prepare the best we can. He's likely going to have some huge trick up his sleeve, so we'll need our own. I guess Tiamat can be that trick if need be, but she might be a bit overkill for a fight like the one they would be having with Kokabiel soon.

'The girls are all prepared the best they can be at this point, and now it is just ironing out some weaknesses they have, but even those weaknesses are being eliminated. Especially when it comes to Rias's peerage. I guess I can have them dealing with the small fry while I personally take out Kokabiel and hand him over to Azazel, knowing he kept the deal' Morgan thought to herself, as she contemplated the future.

All the while, far off into the town, Kokabiel prepared, one thought on his mind as he did so.

'...Soon...soon the Great War shall begin anew!'

That's the end of the chapter!

No idea how well this chapter was written, as I am sleep deprived like a mf right now. So if some of this chapter seems a bit messy then...that's probably why.
