[3rd POV]
Turns out Ophis was a pretty good guest. She had adapted to her new room very quickly, and had taken to her bed, sleeping for quite some time whenever she entered the room, and loved her new headphones.
She also really really really liked cookies. Like...way too much.
Morgan had also found herself as the entities favorite seat, with her sitting on her lap whenever she was in the living room, and according to Ophis, it was because "She feels like home". Morgan wondered what that meant, but decided that it was best not to question it.
That, and she had to admit that Ophis was kind of warm, so it was a big comfy having the girl sitting on her lap. That, and the Dragon God was admittedly adorable. Especially once they had found her some proper clothes that didn't have her half nude.
Because seriously, she used to wear barely anything, and literally had tape over her breasts, not exactly the most coverage.
Besides cookies, Ophis had come to very much enjoy Morgan's cooking, as she hadn't really eaten before Morgan bribed her with food. And she had come to really love it.
Almost too much, considering Morgan had to literally buy mass amounts of ingredients because the Dragon God refused to eat anything if it wasn't made by her. But thankfully she had also managed to get the girl to calm down a bit after explaining that she couldn't just make food constantly.
But now she had a curious little dragon God that followed her with her headphones on, seemingly finding Morgan more interesting than the idea of sleeping in her silent room.
And it was because of this that she was in her current situation. Sitting in the Satan's office, Ophis on her lap munching on a cookie while the Four Satans were gazing at her in absolute confusion.
"Morgan, who is the girl on your lap, and why is she wearing headphones?" Sirzechs asked, noticing the girl. He could also tell that she was definitely not normal, and was likely similar to other devils, where she is a lot older than she looks.
And that is the case, considering Ophis is literally billions of years old. Born when the very universe itself had been brought into creation. Hell, she is older than Great Red himself, and according to the DxD lore that she knew, was the oldest being in this universe.
So definitely not a petite girl like she looked.
"Uh...well, that is a very...interesting story. And one that I am not entirely sure if I want to explain to be honest" Morgan responded, already having an idea how the devils of the Underworld would react to her.
"Morgan" Serafall said with narrowed eyes, causing Morgan to sigh.
"Alright. I'll tell you who she is, as long as you keep this between us, alright? She's...not someone we can just tell others about, and you'll understand once I tell you" Morgan responded.
They raised their eyebrows before nodding in acceptance. Seeing that they accepted, Morgan sighed.
"Alright everyone, this is Ophis Ouroboros, also known as...The Infinite Dragon God" Morgan said, deciding to be straight to the point, and blunt. As sugar coating it was pointless and wouldn't help anyone in this case.
And she got the exact reaction that she was expecting from them.
They all looked at her with wide eyes, and their faces paled dramatically. They all stepped back in fear, as they looked at the comfortable dragon God, knowing that this entity could wipe out the entire Underworld with casual ease.
Not a single one of them would even be able to fight back against her. None of them would be able to stop her.
Not even Morgan.
"Wh-what is she doing here?" Serafall stuttered slightly, genuinely worried that Morgan might be in danger. And that's not even thinking about the rest of the Underworld.
"Initially? She wanted me to help her kill Great Red-" "WHAT!?" They all yelled, even Ajuka looked at her with wide eyes, a rare look of shock on his face.
"She wanted me to help her kill Great Red. She wanted to return to the Dimensional Gap, and he wasn't letting her. So, she came to me in hopes that I could help her get rid of him. Obviously, I cannot, so I gave her another option" Morgan said as they all listened.
"I gave her a new form of silence that she wanted, with those neat little headphones on her head, and a comfy new room for her to sleep in. That, and I bribed her with milk and cookies" Morgan said, as they all blinked several times before...deadpanning.
"You...bribed a dragon God with...milk and cookies" Ajuka said slowly, staring at her as if she was crazy. And...she probably was to be honest.
"Yep. She's scary, yeah, but she's not too difficult to handle once you understand what she likes" Morgan responded with a shrug, as she had already gotten used to the dragon God and her unique personality.
Ophis was different, but it wasn't really that bad of a thing for her. As she could deal with it. She did live with someone like Issei afterall, and that girl is like a walking embodiment of "Different".
"...And why is she sitting on your lap?" Serafall asked, slightly jealous as she wanted to be the one sitting on that lap at the moment.
"She finds me comfortable I guess. Something about me feeling similar to her home, I'm not really sure what it means. I'd ask her, but I have a feeling she won't know the answer to it, or won't tell me" Morgan answered, as Ajuka frowned.
"You feel like home? But her home is the dimensional gap. Which makes that...a little concerning" Ajuka muttered, wondering if Morgan was even more unique than he thought.
Maybe this connection to the dimensional gap is the reason why she is so unique and grows so fast. Either way, he'd have to research into it, as it might be a problem, or a good thing.
"And what are you going to do with her now? Are you just going to let her live with you from now on?" Falbium asked, looking at the dragon God that was sitting on her lap playing on her phone.
Ophis had also found a liking for video games, playing all sorts of phone games. She particularly liked Angry Birds for some reason.
"Yep. It's not like I can do anything else, Falbium. She's a dragon God, the second strongest being in the entire universe with only Great Red surpassing her, and only barely. She is also the head of Khaos Brigade, and now that she won't be working with them anymore, it'll make our lives a lot easier" Morgan responded, knowing that Ophis living with her was for the best.
"...Now I see why you didn't want anyone to know. If those old coots found out about this...who knows what they'd try. Even with you being overwhelmingly powerful compared to them, Ophis is...well, Ophis" Sirzechs said, nodding as he agreed with her decision to only tell them.
"And what about the Khaos Brigade? You wiped out most of their forces when they invaded your territory, and killed their sacred gear wielders. Are you going to hunt down the rest of them?" Serafall asked, as Morgan nodded.
"I will if possible. But first I need to deal with a couple of other...problematic individuals. After that I'll be hunting down the Khaos Brigade and their members, which of course means I'll need to find that psychopath" Morgan said, causing them to sigh.
They all knew about Rizevim, and knew how dangerous he was. He wasn't stronger than Ajuka or Sirzechs, but he was absolutely unpredictable, and intelligent. So finding out his plans was next to impossible.
But now that they had Ophis with Morgan, and Morgan herself as the ruler of the Underworld, it was likely that the man would be pushed into a corner soon. Or at the very least, he would get desperate soon, as nothing he is doing is going to work.
But that desperation might make him do something really stupid, which is the reason why Morgan needs to hunt him down as soon as possible, before he does anything too crazy.
"...Alright, just keep us updated okay?" Serafall said, as Morgan smiled and replied.
"Of course! Now...I'll be off. I've got a dragon God to feed" Morgan said, before teleporting off, one thought on her mind as she returned home with Ophis, and that was...
'...Time to finally take care of Hades!'
