Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: Apologies

[3rd POV]

The preparations for Trihexa were...a bit more complicated than a simple ritual. The entity was stronger than Ophis, and was too much for Morgan to currently battle. So, she decided that the best way to prepare for Trihexa besides the obvious, was...

To train.

She decided it was time to train the living hell out of her peerage. They had all long since fallen behind her, and the strongest of them was barely Super Class. She needed them all to be far stronger than that if they were to have a chance against Trihexa.

On top of training the hell out of her peerage, she decided it was best that she starts to develop weaponry that could actually harm the thing, beyond the Excalibur that she had, and Scathach's spear. As those were the two things that she knew for certain could harm it.

The other plan she had was to develop another faction that was closely in line with her own. The Yokai.

She had been neglecting Yasaka pretty badly as of recent, and understood that the woman was probably not very pleased with her right now. If not her, than Kunou was almost certainly pissed with her right now.

Well, as pissed as a young child could be in this situation.

Which is why at the moment Morgan was sat in front of a fiercely pouting Kunou, and a glaring Yasaka who looked like she wanted to hit her any moment now.

"You've been gone for so long!" Kunou yelled at her, pouting in anger at the fact that Morgan hasn't been over to their home in...quite some time at this point. Even though Yasaka and her were quite close.

"I know, I'm sorry Princess" Morgan said softly, cringing slightly at the glare from Yasaka deepening, making it pretty damn clear that she was not pleased with her, even if she apologized.

"Where have you been so long, Morgan-San?" Kunou asked, her pout still clearly on her face.

"I was beating up a bunch of bad guys. Bad guys that I could not afford to let wander about, so, I had to focus all of my energy on defeating them. Because if I didn't they could have harmed a lot of innocent people" Morgan responded, hoping that the child would begin to understand what she was trying to say.

That she didn't neglect the two on purpose. That she genuinely had a lot she had to do, and simply could not afford to get distracted while dealing with it all. But now that the major events and situations were over for a while, she could afford to come back here and stay with them for a while.

While also giving Yasaka a few gifts to help improve her people's power. That and she would be telling her about the truth of what happened, and of the power she has obtained during that time. Well, that and the fact that she was effectively the ruler of Heaven and Hell now.

Which would undoubtedly bring the yokai faction a lot of new boons, since she was so close to Yasaka and Kunou.

That and the Yokai faction would be incredibly useful against Trihexa and the battles that would be occurring before that. As they were quite skilled in sealing and areas similar. Not to mention their ability to use chakra, or a lesser version of it at least.

Her own chakra was built a bit different than there's, and was quite a lot stronger in terms of purity and makeup.

She would have to look into making Yasaka stronger through using the Naruto Chaka.

"Hmph, still doesn't make up for not coming back after so long!" Kunou said with a huff, looking to the side with a pout on her lips still. She really wasn't happy with Morgan, like...at all.

"And what if I give you a gift?" Morgan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"A gift? Wh-no, no that won't change anything!" Kunou responded, seemingly interested at first before looking to the side with a rapid shake of her head in denial.

"Huh, really? That's too bad. And here I thought you'd like to be the first to play some of the new games that my companies have been developing. Guess I'll just have to bring them to someone else" Morgan said with a fake disappointed sigh, inwardly grinning as Kunou looked at her with wide eyes.

"Wha-Bu-but- it's my gift!" Kunou exclaimed.

"Hmm? I thought you didn't want my gift though?" Morgan responded with a fake hum, tilting her head almost teasingly.

"N-No I want my gift! I forgive you for being away so long, it was just a mistake anyways!" Kunou exclaimed rapidly, as Morgan's face warped into a smile as she let out a laugh. Without hesitation she summoned the new games and handed them over to the excited girl.

"Yay! I'm gonna go try these now!" Kunou exclaimed and sprinted off, not even letting her mother say a word as she left the room, leaving Yasaka and Morgan alone.

"That girl..." Yasaka said with a sigh, before turning back to Morgan, who was looking at her with a soft expression on her face.

"I didn't tell the full truth of what happened, Yasaka" Morgan said, as the woman looked confused, only for Morgan to continue, as she began to explain what has happened since they had last seen each other in person.

The explanation had been somewhat long, and had brought out a lot of gasps from Yasaka. She looked more and more shocked after every bit of new information she had been given. With the news that Morgan was now the ruler of the Heavens and Hell was a huge shock.

As was what came after.

"What do you mean this is for me?" Yasaka asked, staring at the large stack of books in front of her.

"I mean they're for you and your faction. They're basic training techniques that should massively boost the average skill of the soldiers of your faction. There are also books on cures for various diseases I know you folk are still struggling with. And even a few books on improving your energy reserves" Morgan responded.

In actuality there was a lot more than just that, and it was quite varied. Including seals and ward arrays for protection, new swordsmanship techniques, and all sorts. Made for Yasaka because Morgan knew that the woman would never betray her.

"I know this isn't enough to make up for not talking with you for so long, but I do hope this will begin to help" Morgan said with a warm smile on her face, the woman looking at her with wide eyes, before they slowly began to change into a shake of her head in exasperation.

"You truly are impossibly strange, you know that Morgan? I don't think I have ever met someone who can casually just give away techniques and books that could change an entire factions strength, and so casually at that" Yasaka responded.

"You're my mate, Yasaka, it's only right that I help you and the rest of your people. And I know that they won't betray me. And now that I rule the Underworld, your people will never have to worry about a devil harming anyone in your faction ever again. As I am outlawing the forceful enslavement of other beings through evil pieces" Morgan explained. Yasaka looked at her wide eyed.

"You-you do know that that will completely change the political landscape of your people, right? Won't that potentially cause a civil war?" Yasaka asked, growing worried for her beloved.

"Hmm? Nah, I could single handedly wipe them out if they tried. And they can't afford to make me mad, as I am also single handedly beginning to revolutionize several areas of the Underworld. Especially medicine and healing" Morgan responded with a shake of her head, knowing that they simply couldn't betray her.

It would be stupid as hell, even by their standards.

The devils had more wealth, power, peace, and prosperity under Morgan than any other age. Sort of like a Golden Age, one that was caused thanks to Morgan.

"And I know this isn't enough to truly make up for ignoring you like that, but I hope it will be a st-Mmhph!" Morgan was cut off as her kitsune's lips slammed against hers, surprised as she felt Yasaka's tongue intertwine with hers.

Pulling back, Morgan locked eyes with her as a small smirk began to form on her face upon seeing the panting and red faced form of her mate.

"Follow me, now" Yasaka ordered, grabbing Morgan's hand as she began to drag Morgan with her, the scent of her desire filling the surroundings as Morgan's smirk grew into a wide grin.

And as she followed her mate, Morgan had only one thought on her mind.

'This'll be fun~'
